First Place – from Emily Harkins, who won a pair of tickets to this year’s Voodoo Festival. Emily’s photo was taken in Jacksonville, Haiti, of a little girl who had walked for an entire day to get to a clinic while fighting off an infection.
Second Place – from Michael Nelson, who won a Keurig Coffee Maker. Michael submitted his photo of Nercia collecting lettuce grown in her family’s garden. Nercia was the niece of a good friend he made during the Peace Corps in Mozambique.
